Hi, my name is Will, and I am a Child and Educational Psychologist. I trained at the University of Exeter and, since qualifying in 2013, have worked in several local authorities across the south west. I am currently an Associate Professor of Child, Educational, and Community Psychology at the University of Exeter, alongside my work with schools as an educational psychologist.
My professional and research interests focus on wellbeing and mental health, with a particular emphasis on supporting children who are at risk of, or who have experienced, exclusion from school. It is important to me that children feel understood and valued, and that the adults supporting them feel equipped and confident in making a positive difference. In my practice, I work through a process of consultation and joint problem-solving, drawing on the expertise of the adults around a child to find the best ways to support them in school.
Since qualifying, I have completed training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and in the use of the Story Stem Assessment Profile – a structured, play-based assessment that explores young children’s perceptions of relationships and attachment patterns.

Hello, I’m Shaheen and I have been practicing as an Educational and Child Psychologist since completing my doctoral training at UEL in 2012, having previously worked as a psychology teacher.
I am committed to helping children and young people flourish in their learning and development. I enjoy working closely with families, schools, and professionals to create inclusive, supportive environments where every learner can thrive. My practice is informed by a strong foundation in evidence-based psychology, with particular interests in supervision, positive psychology, trauma-informed approaches, inclusion and diversity and systemic change. I am passionate about supporting the wellbeing of staff and staff supervision offers a valuable space for reflection, connection, and growth. These spaces allow for shared problem-solving, emotional processing, and a deeper understanding of the children and young people they work with. I also enjoy delivering training and guidance to educators and parents, fostering collaborative solutions that make a lasting impact.

Hi, I’m Jasmine and I am an Educational and Child Psychologist. I completed my doctoral thesis at the UCL Institute of Education, where I published my thesis on the peer relations of pupils with and without special educational needs in mainstream primary schools. Gaining the voice of marginalised pupils formed a central part of my thesis, and I continue to advocate for this in all aspects of my current role.
From my experiences as an Educational psychologist, and from my previous roles as a teacher and mentor, I have developed a keen interest in promoting the social and emotional well-being of pupils. Promoting social justice, diversity and inclusion within my practise is another area that I am extremely passionate about.
I have recently completed further training to become an accredited Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) practitioner and love working collaboratively with families and teachers to build even better relationships through the VIG process.

Hello, my name is Alice, and I am an Assistant Child and Educational Psychologist. I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2020 with a BSc in Psychology.
During my final year, I specialised in childhood brain plasticity, parental psychiatric disorders and child development, and social inclusion and exclusion in childhood and adolescence. My dissertation explored the effects of traumatic brain injury, impulsivity, and childhood parenting style on risk-taking behaviours. This work sparked my passion for supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development.
I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, supporting their learning, mental health, and wellbeing across both educational and clinical settings. I particularly enjoy collaborating with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to create tailored strategies that enable children to thrive.
I look forward to continuing my professional development and pursuing my doctorate, with the aim of contributing further to research and practice in child psychology.
