Terms and Conditions for Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Training

By booking a place on the Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) training course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Course Overview

  • The course consists of 6 online training sessions, each lasting from 9am to 3pm.

  • 4 x 2h group supervision sessions are provided upon completion of the training.

  • Participation is required for all training and supervision sessions to receive the completion certificate.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to the course start date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior and more than 7 days prior will receive a partial refund of 50%.

  • In the event of a cancellation by us, a full refund will be issued, or you will have the option to rebook on an alternative date.

  • No refunds or partial refunds will be given for missed sessions.

3. Attendance and Participation

  • Full attendance and participation in all six sessions are required for certification.

  • If you are unable to attend any session, please notify us as soon as possible.

4. Technical Requirements

  • The training will take place online via Zoom.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary technology and a stable internet connection.

5. Course Materials

  • Course materials are provided for personal use only.

  • You may not copy, distribute, or share any course materials without our written permission.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Any personal information you provide during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We may contact you via email with course-related updates.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content delivered during the training, including materials and recordings, remains the intellectual property of Lighthouse Psychology Training.

  • You may not use or share any part of the content without permission.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards trainers and other participants.

  • We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive or inappropriate.
